JALPLAST cream is a topical formulation having as a main component of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide biological least ( glycosaminoglycan ) found in the extracellular matrix of most tissues , particularly in growing tissues or revolving .
In particular , it is intended to cover acute and chronic wounds ( abrasions , cuts in donor or operative , burns first and second grade , vascular and metabolic ulcers and decubitus ulcers ) , and provides a moist environment in the wound , protecting it from scratches, abrasion and drying .
Wounds or ulcers should be cleaned and disinfected prior to treatment . Apply a thin layer of cream on the wound surface , two or more times a day . The treated area should be covered with a sterile gauze and a sterile bandage.
Contraindications : Do not use in patients with known sensitivity to the ingredients of the product .
Precautions : Avoid direct contact of the tube with the trauma . Each tube of cream JALPLAST should only be used by a patient to reduce the risk of cross contamination .
Interactions: Do not use concomitantly with disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts because hyaluronic acid can precipitate . The concurrent topical treatment of wounds with antibiotics or other topical drugs has never cause interactions or incompatibilities with cream JALPLAST.
