Male Infertility
In 50% of cases the man is the one who has a reduced fertilizing ability. Numerous studies carried out have indicated that the quality of sperm in the world deteriorates and that 40% of the male population have sperm cells of dubious quality. Today, more than ever, the shortcomings detected by the spermatodiagram may be due to imbalances caused by stress and environmental factors and underlying causes of these are congenital pathologies, hormonal disorders, mumps, varicocele inflammation or surgery of the urogenital system.
The production of sperm is the result of a long process that takes place in epididymides. This process takes approximately 2-3 months and in that period the excessive oxidative stress may have a significant negative impact on the quality of sperm and thus conception.
