Sunscreen protection is the new anti-aging
An integral part of the healthy skin is hydration. A key element of hydration is water. This ensures the elasticity and shine of the skin. Our skin is affected by many factors, exogenous and endogenous.
In endogenous factors including the sex, skin type, blood pressure, age, and poor psychological state. Exogenous factors include smoking, diet, physical exercise, extreme weather conditions and alcohol consumption.
Dermatologists say that using sunscreen in a daily basis even in winter months, helps in anti-aging skin and premature wrinkles. Even on cloudy days the solar radiation UVA, UVB reaches the skin, affecting hydration, causing burns and even skin cancer.
Particular emphasis should be given to nevi which are located on the face, it is necessary to use sunscreen protection according to the skin type and the examination by a dermatologist in any change in their morphology.
In conclusion to prevent premature wrinkles from the greatest enemy of the skin, the sun, we should keep on mind daily the following:
• Put sunscreen on dry skin for better absorption
• Use sunscreen all year long regardless of sunny weather or not.
• Put sunscreen after heavy sweating or swim in the sea.
• Sunscreen suitable to individual skin type.
• The light skin types need sunscreen with a higher SPF.
