The Turmeric (Turmeric / Curcuma longa) is an herb used 4000 years for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases. The term turmeric comes from the Arabic word "kurkum", which means "saffron" and refers to the characteristic yellow color of the rhizome. The youngest term turmeric comes from the "terra merita", which in Latin meant commendable earth, which also refers to the ground rhizome color, resembling a mineral pigment. Therefore, in many languages, as in Greek, the turmeric described as "yellow root".
The main active ingredients of Turmeric are the curcuminoids, of which the most important is the curcumin (curcumin). This material gives a yellow color to food and especially in curry spice, which is found in large quantities.
A major problem relates to the curcumin is the difficulty in absorbing micronutrient by the digestive system. To solve this problem, the Lamberts, manufactured the Curcumin Ultra. The Ultra Curcumin is turmeric extract (Turmeric), specially designed to achieve better absorption by the digestive system. More particularly, for the preparation of the CurcuWIN used, a kind of turmeric extract prepared using Ultra SOLTM technology. This technology is molecular compression technology (or molecular separation) that is used to increase the absorption and bioavailability, poorly absorbed fat soluble micronutrients (such as curcumin) by increasing their water solubility. More specifically separates the molecules of curcumin making them more water-soluble, thus INCREASING ABSORPTION OF
The recommended dose for this preparation is a tablet a day half an hour after eating. The tablet consists swallowed whole.
