Let them enjoy the sun without risk!

The basic guidelines are general and concern both adults and children or infants:

• Do not stay too long in sun radiation, even if you wear sunscreen.

• Excess of sun exposure is a serious health threat.

• Use sunscreen before exposure to the sun.

• Re-apply frequently to maintain protection, especially after perspiring, swimming or toweling.

• Avoid exposure to the sun during peak sunlight hours, between 12:00 and 16:00

• Renew the sunscreen in sufficient quantity. Renewal application should be frequent (at least every two hours and after swimming anyway) sunscreen to the skin to provide effective protection.

More specifically as regards children and infants:

• Avoid completely direct sun exposure, because even in the shade they are still exposed to half radiation.

• Give them plenty of fluids.

• Wear them a hat.

• Let them get gradually exposed to Sun.

• Protect body parts exposed to sun with special sunscreen for children or infants, increased sun protection (better than 25 + and up), without preservatives and parabens.

Subsequent a prolonged without sun protection sun exposure may become visible much later, with devastating consequences for the skin, especially as far as it regards light phototypes that are more susceptible to the effects of solar radiation. So it is recommended that your children from early on have a careful sun exposure.
